Up at Bat
This little bat boy (or girl) has been hanging around (and off) a building on Chicago Avenue near Chicago's Water Tower this week.
Bats are migrating now and are often seen in the fall along the lakeshore. They particularly like to hang out on this building each November because of its rough exterior. For more, visit www.batconservation.org

Bats are definitely one of the most fascinating creatures in this planet. I am really amazed with their ability to echo locate and the variants of the species is really amazing. I've seen the flying foxes and other bigger species, I have to admit they are also scary.
